Makeup Q&As

Below are some questions and answers. If you have a question you would like answering, please don't hesitate to send me an email at susie@deliciousmakeup.co.uk I will do my best to answer each one individually and upload them to the site.

Q. Hi Susie, please could you tell me how do I prevent my mascara from going clumpy and sticking all my eyelashes together? Thanks!

Sarah - London

A. Hi Sarah, maybe you mascara is old - all mascara should be replaced after 6 months to prevent infections even if you appear to have some left it have started to dry up which makes it thicker and harder to apply. try and find a mascara that has a comb wand, by this I mean instead of the usual brush at the end many brands now do one with a comb. This makes it easy to apply and easy to separate individual lashes as you simply comb it through the lashes. I find Rimmel Lash MAXXX priced from £6.99 great.

Q. Please help me find a matt bronzer which won't clog to my foundation or make me orange, my skin type is quite fair.

Stacey - Cardiff

A. I would recommend St Tropez powder bronzer. its matte and a fab colour for all skin types. the great thing about this product is it can be applied anywhere on the body and you can layer it to get your desired colour. don't be put off by the orange colour when you open the compact. a little goes a long way. it retails around £19.99 and can be bought from any st Tropez retailer - www.sttripeztan.com

Q. Hello Susie, please help! How do I get rid of the dark rings under my eyes after a late night.

Adam - Crawley

A. OK this one is easy - Apply Yves Saint Laurent Touché Éclat. This amazing little wand helps to create flawless skin by brightening dark shadows. Its a light concealer with light reflective particles making tell tale late night signs disappear. £13.99 boots chemist.
